Very nice! Ianto is so repressed and sad here. Expecting the worst. Jack gave him what comfort and reassurance he could, but it couldn't ever be enough for Ianto. I can see why you're ambivalent about the ending!

I haven't read very much Torchwood fic, but I've just started re-watching the series on BBC America, so I really enjoyed this story and your commentary because the characters are fresh in my mind once again. :-)

Cool, I' m glad you enjoyed reading my comments. I like what you've said about Ianto - I think that fits this fic very well indeed.

There's some good fic out there, but it like all fandoms it takes a bit of digging.
