A picspam on the eve...

Jul 03, 2008 18:03

I restrained from making this post, like, two days ago. Because if I did, I'd be spamming many great people's lists. And I'd hate that.

And it helps that right now I'm about to start timing this show for TFS....because ninchan and En-sensei are amazingly fast in translating (it helps to have MaOh as motivation).

A comparison of expressions at each ( Read more... )

I'm sure someone sweet and lovable will sub that video some day so I will wait for it until I leech it.

Full of confidence since that's all I need to do XDDD 'Cause Rosa♥ is gonna be the one torturing herself with typesetting & hardsubbing. But if you need help timing don't hesitate to ask. Though I have a feeling you don't need it. Ohno fangirls I know seem to be so full of energy and passion when it's about something connected to their idol.

I didn't manage to catch the TFP on TV, because I was still in the lab

It has to be 7 so you'd have to download it and let it sit on your HD for you to rewatch whenever you feel like it. XDD

She's a year older. yet again. But she thinks younger.....:)

Whoever said Yasashii Jikan is boring clearly has no concept of 'beauty in stillness'. :) It was a beautiful drama, well-acted, well-shot, well-written.

But Asuza's (Masami) penchant for breaking plates still creeps me out. Yes. More than the wristcutting. i'm sick, aren't i.

yaaaays, picctureess!
LOL, Toma's huge smile for Ohno's crash fail. What a good friend. XDD
Oh!! NOSE! ;D
I'm surprised something amazing didn't happen with so much nose in the same building--and those face caps are precious. well, 12=10 anyway.

Yasashii Jikan is like my ultimate comfort/relaxation drama. Take out the chocolate chip cookies and the Yasashii Jikan, and any day gone awry will be made right. Soo pretty. Somehow makes the whole world seem better~

OH!NOSE indeed!

12=10. I still have59+ of each sitting on my HD. I told you. Restraint. :)

Gawd, I love that drama...totally. Nice scenery, too. Relaxation? O_O....some thought in some parts it was depressing. LOLZ! But if you refer to its entirety, including the resolution at the end, then I guess it'll count as a comfort drama. Nino was such a...wow here.

XDD
restraint is overrated. ahem. but 118+ pics might have broken my poor computer.

Ahhh, well...Some parts were a little depressing? Yes, they were weren't they. But after the first time through, watching it over is really relaxing. I think that might be my favorite Nino drama, and that's saying a lot.

I agree. Over all, it's my fave Nino drama. And I look forward to something from him that would topple YJ off the top. :D He's such a marvelous actor, I am sure there will be something.

Thanks for all your subbing work!~

I've only seen bits and pieces of the first episode of Yasashii Jikan, so maybe that's why I totally didn't get it. If it comes this highly recommended though, maybe I should give it another try...

I watched it in the wake of watching the super fast-paced Security Police, so maybe that was why the pacing threw me ^^"

Because i'm a crazy fangirl, that's why~.

Ahhh....post-SP, eh? I guess that explains it.

Anyway, if you are one of those drama viewers who want things to start happening in the first episode already, I guess this would quite put you off. I am guilty of that sometimes. But I was ill that time, and I started watching it and was in a slow-pace mood, so i sat through it. And does not regret it. Try it sometime. :D

We're all crazy fangirls here, no worries XD

I think the original reason I tried Yasashii Jikan was because a friend told me it was similar to Nino's Haikei ^^

And I liked Haikei, so I picked up the first ep of Yasashii, only to find that Nino was barely in it ~ Shamefully, I am one of those people who need things to happen in ep 1 T_T

...Maybe I should wait until I'm sick too. It'll force me to sit still long enough to appreciate the subtle beauty, heh

Similar to Nino's Haikei....hmmm....I think Yasashii was the deeper and more serious one, though. I loved Haikei, but I loved Yasashii even more....if only because Nino was simply too good on it.

Yeah, Nino was barely on ep 1...That's one complaint I have about the drama, because basically it focuses on how the issue between father and son would be threshed out and they actually meet. One has to watch the entire thing to actually witness it. (spoiler-ish much? sorry.) But they could've turned it into a movie or SP instead and it would still resolve the same issue. But then again, they'd have to forego the sidestories that, in a way, propel the main characters to that final meeting....oh well....

hahaha! wishing for illness just so you can watch it? i think i'm guilty of that, too...but mainly so i can beg off from work and stay home to watch instead. :D

so Stormy is going to sub TFP with Maou cast? I'm so happy to know this!
I haven't watched it yet because of the lack of time but I'll wait the subbed version...

Zettai Kareshi. The end made me really really really sad. A robot made me cry. (Speaking of which, I hope I'd have time to catch Wall-E this weekend. Drats.

I found the ending quite horrible... Riiko is so stupid... :(

Taiyou no Kisetsu.

interesting and dark and yes half naked Tackey everywhere isn't a bad thing at all <3

Maou. Tomorrow. Wow. It's finally here. FINALLY.

finally *_*

AND! I am now officially JENNIFER. No more Florence.

so you changed you name? wow... when I was a kid I was hoping to do the same thing ^_^ Because my complete name is long and annoying...

Finish timing Yoiko 9

total happiness *_____*

Not STORMY, TOMAlicious Fansubs (TFS) is. It's a case of two fandoms colliding, and me caught in the middle with a wide grin.

I know!!! I was like, Riiko!!!! THINK! I've no idea how the manga ended, so i cannot make comparisons.

My name....Uhm...in a nutshell, I spent my entire life going by the name Jennifer, because I had a case of late registration. And then, when I checked with our Statistics Office a few months ago, it turns out that their system was not updated, and what was still in their records is the first registration (which was voided by my parents when they registered me as Jennifer) which still had my name at Florence. SO. I had to stress myself out with legalese and bureaucratic crap before Florence is taken out of the system and Jennifer replaces it. :D

Haha. May I ask what your long and annoying name is? My flak with Florence was....it sounded too saintly. And that I am definitely NOT.

lol... it's a good thing that Toma has got good fans too ^_^

Lol... Riiko and thinking in the same phrase is an impossible request =_= The manga ends pretty in the same manner but as I know Riiko ends up with Soshi (HORRIBLE) when Night "dies". The only thing I like from the drama version is that you can't assume at all that Riiko will love Soshi again. He deserves a better woman. One with a brain K___K

My full name is Maria Antonietta (Italian version of the famous Marie Antoinette last queen of France), because my grandma was named MA too. When I was little I hated it so much, a lot of people used to joke about it... my friends call me "Mary" so basically I don't think about it so much actually ^^

Oh, yes, Toma has got great fans. I'd like to think I'm one of them. XDD

He deserves a better woman.

My sentiments exactly. I thought Riiko was pretty cute in the drama, but....what's so special about her? I kept wondering about that. Sure, Night's devotion is understandable because he was programmed to like her and eventually love her, but Soshi....what did he EVER see in her? She can make pastries? Ok. Shallow? Lolz. I think that's my one eh? about the drama.

Maria Antonietta. Wow. Regal. Regal name. I like it. haha! It's nothing new in my country (history says we were under Spanish occupation for 333 years so the influences are pretty much embedded) because I know people who have lots of names with Maria appended at the beginning. I just feel sorry for kids who have to learn how to write uber-long names. lolz.

But yours is a beautiful name. :)
