Wow, in some ways Andy is really strong. I hope that the girls can be as strong in standing up to their mother & that they all have the strength to stand up to Nate, whenever he shows up.

Both comments to this point mention Andy's strength and bravery. I don't really know if I see her that way. She is a young woman in an untenable situation, doing what she perceives as necessary to survive. The girls came into her life and she couldn't allow what has happened to her to happen to them. The confrontation with Miranda should prove interesting. And you can be sure that Nate will be showing up to cause trouble. Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment!

Fascinating read so far. Miranda may have some experience with this life. Leaving home with only 100 pounds in her pocket sounds like she may have at least seen the darker aspects of the streets before getting herslef out.

I swear that everytime I think I've pulled away from reading something dark and engrossing... you post, and I find myself unable to NOT read. *grumpus*

And do you know why I am unable to NOT read?? Because you're posting it, and I always end up with more questions than answers that you have provided, and it is *cough* nigh unbearable. ;-P However, kudos to getting the twins out of LA, and I guess I'll have to buckle in for the rollercoaster ride.
