This was a great story. what a misery with those first 6 wishes, I'm glad everone got out of those wishes alive.
Very original story, very original storyline. Great job and I thought the devil was a great lady, she was funny!
Thanks for writing and for sharing!

I'm so pleased you found my Devil funny. I really tried to write her as Elizabeth Hurley played her in the 2000 version of Bedazzled. As for the storyline, I agree it was very original. I wish I could take credit for it but I really copped it from the two Bedazzled films. The credit really goes to Dudley Moore & Peter Cook who wrote the original treatment of the screenplay back in 1967. Somehow the Bedazzled plotline just spoke to me as needing a Devil Wears Prada treatment. I've been playing with this idea for quite some time and I'm glad to have written it and gotten it out of my system. Now on to bigger and better (and hopefully more original) ideas for Mirandy stories. Thank you for reading and for commenting.

Oh well, maybe you didn't invent all of it, you wrote one of the memorable AUmovie adaption in the Mirandyverse. I liked the Hurley devil a lot and still think that she should meet Miranda:)

Miranda meeting Hurley's devil would be really funny. I may consider doing something with that somewhere down the road.

This was great. The Devil was hilariously devious. Andy didn't stand a chance until she gave up everything for Miranda.
Loved the ending bit (No way will Emily hire somebody who might outshine her).
Thanks for the read.

I'm pleased you thought my Devil devious. I struggled with the wishes trying to balance them between the fact that Andy would learn from her mistakes and to make sure the loopholes were in the verbiage of the wishes. I also enjoyed my "out" at the end. I'm sure that Emily had shredded more than one resume in her tenure under Miranda. Thank you for reading and enjoying my attempt at entertaining.

Yep, you need to be careful what you wish for. Especially if it's the devil giving you the wish! Thanks for reading and commenting!

'Bedazzled' is one of my favorite movies and this made it even better cause it's Mirandy!! I also think your Devil was right on with Elizabeth Hurley's character. So great job on that! The disastrous wishes were great but I really liked the 6th one, despite how painful it was for all involved, because Andy's last wish was truly selfless. Much more so than even the movie cause she believed she'd stay that way forever and she didn't care as long as Miranda was happy. *sniff* I love happy endings though so I'm glad everything worked out. Thanks for sharing. I know this will be one I'll read again soon.

I'm so pleased that you feel I captured the character played by Elizabeth Hurley. Her Devil was so wickedly delicious. Another commenter suggested a story where that character meets Miranda and I must admit its given me food for thought. I had feared that the sixth wish was out of character with the story being as dark as Andy's fate was in it, but it seemed to work better than the other ideas I had to bring the story to its conclusion.I've always seen Andy as selfless when it comes to Miranda's happiness. Throw in that she was responsible for Miranda's suffering and I could see Andy making that wish in a heartbeat regardless of the personal consequences. (Of course I also knew from the get-go that there was going to be a happy ending.) thanks for reading and commenting!
