Brandon and I went to see Garden State. I don't have much to complain about. It seems very honest. It was so short. I like the way it was directed. The shots from above were really awesome. That is the only part worth seeing in a theater. I wanted to cry because the ending song was so good. I used to like Frou Frou a lot ( Read more... )

Also, I was listening to Condor Avenue by Elliott Smith the other day and realized how much it reminds me of The Virgin Suicides. Completely independent of this entry, I'd forgotten. And I'd forgotten about Mates of State, but there's this boy, this really pretty tall, thin, blond young man, really, who works at the Stanford Theatre where they play only old movies, and the night Pat and I were both wearing Mates of State shirts the pretty young man commented, and I've been in love with him ever since. He was working there last night.

So that you don't get annoyed with me, I'll have you know that if you'd answer your phone once in a while, I wouldn't write so many and such long comments on your entires.
