Holy fuck. I am so sorry to hear this. It happened last night? Is it blistered? At least the kitchen is right next to the door I guess... :\ {hugs} I wish you fast healing, you have 7 days till school starts, plenty of time for the hand to be usable again, just go easy on it.
Yeah I'm really glad this happened the week before school and not the week after XP
There's only one place where it's 2nd degree and blistery, and of course that's right over the last joint on my pointer finger, so, it doesn't bend too good at the moment :/ <3 Idk what to do with myself in the meantime XP XP
When I caught my stove on fire, my thoughts went like this, in a fraction of a second:
"My options are to put out this fire myself, or go get Master. Getting Master is a better option."
Master happened to be out back having a cigarette, talking on his phone with his mom. I poked my head out and here is our conversation:
"WILL. HELP." "Fire?" "YES."
So he came in and wet a towel and threw it on the fire. That was fun. Not. I probably would have done the same had I been alone, but it's just a good idea to get help in case something (else) goes terribly wrong (/worse).
Holy crap! I'm glad you're okay! That sucks that you burned your right hand. Your semester hasn't started yet has it? Will you have time to heal enough to draw?

I recently burned myself too. But it wasn't a grease fire, it was an electrical fire. It took a few days for my hands to heal.
Feel better soon. *hugs*

And yeah, there was no open flame even on the burner, it's electric. So..it just hit the pan and went all "FLAME ON!"
