I think if you don't capitalize the The, it becomes less of an issue. Like, "the Hungry Void." So the name is basically Hungry Void, but it has kind of a titular feel to it.

I like the idea, but we'll have to see how it looks on the card frame. It could really depend on the font that I use, but it's a good option to keep in mind.

I would advise against this, from a typography standpoint. Unless it's something you do on all of the cards and your font supports the look it's going to look unfinished and unprofessional.

I second the above comment. After all my full "spirit"/online name is Kya, the White Sapphire, but most people call me kws or sapph - which makes sense, because names are just titles too.

Why not, the "scant!" ...those with a shortage, what they have is insufficient, lacking...

OR maybe the "drossy"...the barren ones, the unavailing.

I like the idea of just dropping the "The". It would work fine that way I think. As an an alternative, maybe find another word to use for their name that would explain what they need? Like for the empty cup that wants water maybe...Waterless?..Thirst?...or those might fall into the stereotypical category XD I think the names you already have would be just fine though even with the "The".
