A mindless meme... type in each letter of the alphabet in your address bar, and write down the first hit for that letter. (I didn't always use the first hit, because for some letters the first hit was not actually a url that began with that letter.)

F is fpb's stormy petrel

Some pages I access so much they appear under several letters.
One of these is Mark Shea's patheos blog, and another is Laura Wood's Thinking Housewife, which exposes the malign conspiracy of the pizza-industrial complex.

Q brings up quareredeum, which I do not remember ever looking at. It posts pics of artwork without commentary.

Considering how much I read online that is food related, I am surprised nothing like this so up. Mrs Wood actually rants about pizza only occasionally.

Thanks! You helped me kill 10 minutes pleasantly.

Isn't the Thinking Housewife really racist though? Her posts about "miscenegation" appall me.

I've been reading Thinking Housewife for about a year now and have browsed through her archives; I have by no means read every post. I like her blog, have corresponded with her, and agree with her far more often than I disagree. I didn't remember her addressing racial issues at all ( ... )

You missed the two posts that I read, first: Mrs. Tiger. It contains the following truly appalling quote from Wood: "Feminism and miscegenation are interconnected. Only a society which has emasculated men would openly condone intermarriage. Let me change that. Only a society in which white men have been emasculated would see the sort of tolerance for and celebration of intermarriage we are experiencing today." (emphasis hers)

On another post about the same subject, she writes: "It seems that many white men seeking Asian wives dislike the agressiveness [sic] of the modern Western woman. Asian women seem to offer a solution to their problem. This is in keeping with my point that feminism exacerbates the phenomenon." (emphasis hers ( ... )

Really? I like WDTPRS. That said, I don't actually read it regularly, either. I just read it when people link me to it. haha.

It's the constant begging for money for what are really luxuries that bothers me. The "buy father a Mac" fund and the gourmet mail order food and so on. It just seems unseemly for a priest.
