Christine was teasing me for one of my New Year's Resolutions being something that my husband would do for me (massage). Actually, I was specifying that it was a husband-given massage rather than a professional (and pricy) massage, which would be a LOT more indulgent, but now I'm thinking that I should give up with all these resolutions for myself ( Read more... )

Fascinating. My husband's hands are naturally moist, so if he feels the need, he'll go and put on lotion. It helps that it's a German brand. Glysomed. We've also got a lot of Braun small appliances. As for massage, well, it's too painful to be really considered relaxing.

Reading comments is annoying. Too many dumb people out there. How can right-wingers believe that people should be free to do whatever? Leave everyone to their own suffering because they "deserve" it. Ugh. Everyone makes lots of mistakes.

p.s. This is the first time using this new comment system. It's weird.

Ha, should I be insulted that I was the first person you thought of? ;)

But yeah, I have seen that before. Colbert is one of my Catholic heroes. (Guest: "Obviously you learned well in Sunday School." Colbert: "I *teach* Sunday School, motherf***er!" And he does, that's what makes it perfect.)

I think it's awesome that he's one of your Catholic heroes and he's one of my progressive heroes, and we're both totally right.

(Incidentally, I told Mal that he teaches Sunday School and she speculated that parents must be beating each other up to get their kids into his class.)
