We did parttime EC with my elder son for the first year, but then he got mobile enough to walk off the potty and it was all over for us. We finally potty trained him this summer at 3.5 after a LONG battle. But we won the war, so that is what counts, right?

My husband occasionally takes the younger children to the potty, and my 18 month old shows signs of possible readiness (maleness not withstanding--what is it with boys and late potty training?!?), but mostly we are done with it.

Good luck, though! I hope it works well for you. We used the Bjorn little potties, and Baby legs for easy access in case you don't know about them.

Yep, we use a Bjorn Little Potty. I know about baby legs but so far I think it's easier to just take pants off. We're mostly a cueing/timing family for EC, not a signal-reading family, so time isn't really of the essence.
