This was fairly freaky because like I said, they literally appeared as we watched, to my horror. They actually look a lot better now because when they first appeared they were that ugly vivid purple, and now they are faded and don't look so bad. But I can feel the texture difference, they are stretch marks for sure. My best guess is, it's because of how low she's gotten. The stretch marks are all right at the bottom. I should have known this was coming because that area has been itching the past couple days--I guess my belly just finally couldn't take it. :(

I'm slathering myself with cocoa butter now.

Yeah I know the ones that are here are here to stay but at least I feel like I'm doing something lol.

That's exactly what happened to me too. Also, Tom tells me he was watching even more of them appear WHILE I gave birth. My stomach looked ridiculous for a couple months afterwards, but it's way better now.
