It finally came! You're welcome, sweetie. And you know, Kate Bosworth is not a terrible actress, she's just completely wrong for the part. She looks like she should be playing Lois's little sister. Though no one should be playing Superman except Tommy. There was nothing particularly wrong with Brandon Routh, he's just not Superman to me.

I must admit I haven't seen any of Kate's other movies, but I agree that it wasn't her fault. Like you said, she was too young for that part. And the part was also terribly written! The whole not figuring out Clark is Superman even though they went missing and returned at the same time, and after she slept with him; bringing her kid to check out a possibly dangerous lead, and then breaking and entering with him; the whole fainting and so on. I was grinding my teeth through entire movie. I don't think I've ever loathed Lois until SR. Urgh.

I'd still love to see Tom in the suit. *sigh*
But this JLA movie they are making, the one that sounds more like Teen Titans, is just making me incredibly irked. lol
I was fine with Routh if I couldn't have Tom, but I'm dreading which kid they'll pick for the new Superman.

I don't know why they just couldn't have held off the Superman movie until Smallville ended, then Tom and cast could have gone right into the parts.

What kind of idiot was movie Lois, anyway? (A big one, apparently.)

Although I think I heard Tom said he doesn't want to play the part forever and refuses to wear the suit?

I'm a big Lois fan, I loved all incarnations until SR one. It's just really hard to find lead female character written that badly. :(

WORD. Man she was so so so bad.. unfortunately i've herd she will be back for the next one because she's currently in Aus right now and all the papers have been talking about her comming back again for Superman 2. :-(

Meh I'm not looking forward to it.
I said it after watching the movie - Michael is a better, more layered, Lex than Spacey. And Erica is way way better, more interesting, sassy and stronger Lois than the movie version could ever dream of being.
