When Smallville is really good, it's EPIC. I agree with everything. I simutaneously wanted to hug Clark and give him an "F- YEAH!" high five for being awesome in the present and future. I need my iTunes dl IMMEDIATELY.
Yes, EPIC is a word that gets throw around a lot with Smallville, but with this episode it's totally deserved!! Clark was so fantastic! I love how he starts the episode beaten down after the last few weeks, and then expires himself and finds within himself the strength to stand up straight proudly! ♥ I love how they did that. And I love that the "darkness" was only the regret and gilt he still carried after Jonathan's death, and not something dark/evil/not good. Just - GUH!! *flails*
I have no idea what this is about and there's absolutely too much Smallville for me to watch everything so I won't even try, but I had to comment on the awesomeness of the word supermanly. There.
And if there's ever an episode of Smallville you might check out - make it this one! It's the 200th one, and they had a few nice flashbacks, but the story stands on its own. It's written in a way so people who never watched it can also enjoy it. And it's really awesome. And fun! And bloody romantic too! I think you might enjoy Clois. :)
i heart this show. from what i can tell EVERYONE fans and critics loved this episode!! SQUEE!! Hopefully we can get this feeling the last few episodes!!
I hope so too! The episode was so uplifting and fun and amazing! ♥♥♥ And I love that Clark came out of it so confident and the whole darkness part of the season is over and done with and now we get to watch this Clark, and Clois as a couple and finally open with each other, for the rest of the season. \o/
i'm glad that touched on it and he learned from it and is moving on.
I kept squeeing the entire episode. One of my (many) favorite parts its the look on Clark's face when he's declared Homecoming King and Lois is just eating up the attention as Queen (i presume she's queen lol)
OMB, that look!!! Welling KILLED it!! I was laughing so loud!! If that wasn't "kill me now and end my misery" look, I do not know what is. He was so unimpressed. LMAO
