I was thinking he would be the result if you stole Neil Gaiman's hair, Peter Wingfield's nose, and David Tennant's running and mannerisms.
Now that you mention it, though, the nose is more like Colin Morgan's than it is Peter Wingfield's. And there's definitely something of Matt Smith in there, too.
Going by that picture, it's the little swirl of hair at the front, and part of the smile that resemble Matt Smith. The rest of his hair looks like Neil Gaiman's to me.
He also has someone else's voice at times, but I'm not sure who.
I haven't noticed the voice, but I'll pay attention to that now. Ha ha.
I still can't believe I managed to miss him completely until now. I kinda skipped all the movies he was in, and this was the first thing I've seen him in, and I'm kinda darn impressed!
Re: Sherlock Holmes the slash vibes are flying about all over the place aren't they? Because Watson was very protective of Sherlock very quickly wasn't he?
He was! I love how Mycroft said that he's very loyal, very fast, and Watson denied it. Yet he had no problems shooting someone just moments after, when Holmes was potentially in trouble. Ha! Same goes for Holmes, and his "I'm in shock. Look, I have a blanket!" refusal to give any clues that might endanger Watson, as soon as he realized it was him who shot the killer. :D Oh, boys!

Ha ha, Benedict, a man of many faces!
It was the cheekbones that made me think of Colin.
And this picture was where I've noticed some similarities between him and Matt.
He's such a chameleon!
