1) We watched
The Hangover on Saturday.
It was...OK.
I expected it to be much funnier after everything I heard about the movie. I guess for most part if wasn't my type of humour.

BTW, have you guys seen
The Boat That RockedNow, that's an unexpectedly fun and extremely entertaining movie! Also, the soundtrack rocks so hard. :D ( Read more... )

i have no idea what the first one or the third one is but I did not like Nurse Jackie. As you said too house. And I preffer house.

Well I've only seen the pilot so far, so maybe it gets more distinctive later on? But I can't say the show grabbed me. It was OK, but it's not near the top of my 'must watch' list.
Saving Grace is about a female cop, who is a bit wild, and she's driving drunk one day and ends up killing someone, and yells for the god to help her, so an angel shows up and fixes the accident like it never happened and gives her one last chance to turns her life around. It sound stupid, but it has potential. It's a cable show. But the wings were cheesy.lol
The New Adventures of Old Christine is hilarious. It's about a woman who divorced her husband two years ago, they're still friendly, and have a son together. She lives with her brother, and son, and is trying to get back 'in the game', start dating and so on. I've seen first two episodes and it was really funny. Plus, the show is very colorful, which is a plus.

Sorry for the late reply. I was just checking out your recommendations. I watched a couple of episodes of Grace and gave up. It just isn't the fandom for me. Neither is Christine. I need the shows to be more.. well you know... Castle NCIS Chuck Merlin Clois sorta thing. Less normal. But I am definitely glad you found new fandoms to get you through the summer. :D I can't wait for the new season to start. From the summer shows I am watching Leverage = Mental = Burn Notice = Hawthorne. The ones that I like the most are Leverage and Burn Notice. Hawthorne next and Mental last.

I love Leverage , so good to finally have it back!
I'm also looking forward to new Psych next week.

Have you checked out Being Human btw? BBC show, only 6 episodes in series 1. It's about werewolf, vampire and a ghost living together and dealing with different problems. They're kinda using what they are as metaphors, it has a sort of Buffy feel a bit, but more adult.
