A woman's right to sexual happiness

I love this. A woman from Ecuador's legistature has proposed that a woman's right to enjoy sexual happiness be written into the Ecuador's constitution. Maria Soledad Vela "is a member of the governing party on the Constituent Assembly that is rewriting the country's constitution

While I applaud the sentiment, I believe she could have approached the topic a bit more fairly. Stating that both men AND women should have "the right to enjoy sex in a free, fair and more open society," I think, would have done the job without causing as much of a ruckus. I do hope the assembly achieves its goals of more even wealth distribution and, if its not included, comprehensive sex education and access to birth control.
