Last night rfunk put a potato in the oven to bake, and we talked in the living room while it cooked. Eventually the oven timer went off, as they do, but since he was planning to leave it in longer he wasn’t in any hurry to run to the oven. With this particular timer, if you don’t turn it off after its initial alarm, it beeps periodically to remind you
