A comedy of errors

My afternoon was a comedy of errors. First the paint guy at Lowe's gets my order wrong, in two ways. I wanted a gallon of the blue paint and a quart of the green. He gives me a quart of the blue and a gallon of the green. I felt sorry for the African cashier, because they don't have potatoes in Africa. He likely had never seen one before.

The guy at the paint counter really didn't have much of an excuse, though.

your story made me smile. when we're in a good space, it's nice to see others in this light you're using. i've been like that. i have no idea what happened! i'm just not as easy going right now, but i will be again.

I was surprised at how lightly I took everything, actually. It has only been in the last few years that I could have found that space at all, and many days it is beyond me. I think the African man's sincerity and sweetness helped a lot.

Cycles come and cycles go. You will find yourself more easy-going again one day.

I have read a few of your entries and it looks like we do have some commonalities. I love the Dickinson poem you quoted, "The heart asks pleasure first." Friend away!
