I found my bus pass this morning, I'm sure you'll be happy to know. It was in a separate pile of mail and papers. Good thing, too. It cost me $40; it would stink to have to pay twice. I just realized that it might make sense to mention that I have them mailed to me every month, and the cost is taken out of my paycheck. Lest you think I bought ( Read more... )

Glad you found your bus pass...

Heck, I don't even have the excuse of having it mailed to me. I pick my T pass up at work, and then I put it somewhere "safe" until the new month rolls around. I then punch a hole in it and attach it to my huge key chain, because if I don't do this, it disappears forever. Sigh...

Putting it somewhere "safe". No, I don't even do that. I just fling the envelope down wherever I happen to be.

Putting the pass on a key chain sounds like a good idea. I keep mine in a special pocket in my wallet. Lord help me if I ever get a new wallet. I won't know what to do with it!

Well, I once put my new keypass in a pocket of my purse and then couldn't find it because it was such a sensible spot for it that I assumed it wouldn't be there. :) So...I usually keep the new one in my wallet and then place it on the keychain.

Well...this is a really boring comment. Sigh...

I do that a lot when I've misplaced something. I'll look in un-sensible places first, where I might have just placed it.
