I found my bus pass this morning, I'm sure you'll be happy to know. It was in a separate pile of mail and papers. Good thing, too. It cost me $40; it would stink to have to pay twice. Heck, I don't even have the excuse of having it mailed to me. I pick my T pass up at work, and then I put it somewhere "safe" until the new month rolls around. I then punch a hole in it and attach it to my huge key chain, because if I don't do this, it disappears forever. Sigh...

Putting the pass on a key chain sounds like a good idea. I keep mine in a special pocket in my wallet. Lord help me if I ever get a new wallet. I won't know what to do with it!

I do that a lot when I've misplaced something. I'll look in un-sensible places first, where I might have just placed it.
