Have you read Devour to Survive by thereisafire? It's been a long time since I have, but urgh, I still remember that it was a great take on Izaya's character.

I'd definitely rec you, and anyone else here, to check out thereisafire's fics! I love her style and the way she captures the characters so well. She's written a variety of characters, but she has one really wonderful Izaya-centric fic if I remember correctly.

For Izaya/Namie, my absolute favourite thus far is To Russia, With Loathing. And lastly, Dead Energy is an interesting 'what-if' fic, where the events of episode 19 take a different direction. I love the focus on Kida and Anri's relationship.

ASDFJKL; thank you for the recs! I've read a few of her fics in the past, but I've totally forgotten about them until now so thank you. That Izaya fic is pretty great, and as you've said in the comments: Izaya/trolling otp!

I really liked both fics! In addition to that, if anyone wants to write a fic in which Mikado, Anri and Kida all angst and beat themselves up for hiding things from their best friends and doubts themselves, please do so very much. And that Izaya/Namie fic HNNGG. It doesn't quite fit my idea of their relationship, but it's very charged with tension.
