[mod post] some housekeeping
As you may have noticed there's a new layout and a new profile that have been added over the course of the week. Basically I did a major revamp on my free time since the community looked like it needed a makeover at some point. But other than that, everything has been cleaned up and should be easier to navigate.
Some rules for the community that I have decided to enforce:
✒ Please tag your posts. It will allow people the chance to be able to find certain things of interests to them, like characters, doujinshis, scans, icons, etc.
✒ When making posts that involve scanlations, light novels, doujinshis, etc., please put them in brackets (ex. [doujinshi]) It will make things a little more organized and people will know right away what the post will be about.
✒ The media: scanlations tag is STRICTLY for manga scanlations. Doujinshis belong in the media: doujinshis tag and scans belong in the media: scans tag. Do NOT include the media: scanlations tags in them. This will keep things organized and easier to find.
✒ When making posts that involve doujinshis or music downloads, be sure to include the characters involved. Like if a doujinshi is about Izaya, tag it with character: orihara izaya. With the new tagging system implemented it should be easier to do so. As well as tag the post with !downloads. If it involves a link to a zip folder, it should have the !downloads tag. Remember also to LOCK THESE POSTS as they are media downloads and as you know we're technically not "really" supposed to be sharing them but we do it anyway because we're ninja-ing pirates like that
Translations from comics/fanart that are from pixiv or any other site also fall under the locking category. Be sure to provide the original source of where you found it.
✒ Keep friending memes, blogcrews and advertisements to a minimum, and by minimum we mean on a bi-weekly basis. If there's one already posted please wait two weeks before you can post yours next. We don't need 724387437482742 of those Dollars websites, thank you. Roleplay advertisements should on a weekly basis, so if you're the kind who wants to recruit people into their roleplay games please only post your advertisement once a week.
✒ Do not disable your posts and do not be one of those people who asks for comments to get a password to files you upload. Either you share them on the community or not at all. Posts like these will be automatically deleted and may result in a ban.
✒ Do not use crazy fonts or any html in your posts. If we find that you did we will automatically delete your post.
✒ That's technically it. All the general rules can be found in the profile, but this list is for more specific things so we can get things more organized.
As usual feel free to leave me any suggestions and comments in this post or PM me for any personal things you would like to address. And since I don't have anything else to say feel free also to advertise your clickables and VDex things in this post as well, like so:
