My brain is getting more and more keyed up as my first assignment as a temp approaches. My first job is going to be filling in as a receptionist for a month; my mind just keeps jumping to all that's wrong with this. A receptionist is the first person of a company many people meet. Oh thank you!! That's really sweet of you to write and say. I did manage to get some sleep, and I figure if it doesn't work out as well as I hope, it's not the end of my world. I can only try my best and hope it's enough. :) And it can definitely be counted upon that if I don't get any info to begin with (like who's who in the company and where everything is located), I'll be a'askin! Well, its been 2 days, so hopefully its going good! Being short term just means you have to make the most of your time to not only get work done, but make professional relationships. If they need someone again, and you made a good impression (ha! as if you wouldn't!) there's a chance they'll ask for you again! Keep your chin up and keep us updated!
