CFL disposal

Hi all,

Would anyone know where to dispose of compact fluorescent light bulbs in Dunedin? All I know is that they shouldn't go out in the general rubbish.

I would love to know this, too - had a bit of a poke about on the council web site recently, but no joy.

I asked on a mailing list I'm on at work (the university). Apparently, there is a collection scheme in place, and they get sent to a central point for recycling. Might be worth asking around your workplace as well?
