That's Tailgate's IC opinion. At this point, he and Pipes are only a couple hundred years old, so they're still learning the ways of things. Tailgate is, as of two days ago, a few months older than Pipes so he's the worldly one and he's going by his perceptions of how the others treat him. I have a tendency to use unreliable narrators in most of my fics, so anything a character says as fact should be considered their IC opinion and not (necessarily) a reflection of what I think.

And no, I haven't written a Minibot/RSA story...yet.
