So I finally got my room assignment for Tufts; room 011 in Houston Hall, which is uphill on the left side of the quad as you face the main dining hall (for any of you who visited and remember that). I'm getting really excited again, and realizing how close it is to the time when I'm going to have to leave. I have a lot of stuff to still do and I ( Read more... )

well, I brought a bunch of huge giant shelves that made a big difference because I had a lot of stuff... umm.
I don't know if you're bringing a printer but I had one and it made it easier, to not have to go to the library to print stuff out all the time.
EZ-Mac. godly.
I don't even know!
All the stuff that I should have brought but didn't was just like...decorating stuff that made our room more homey, like little paper lanterns and stuff :-P

if you're sleep sensitive or haven't ever shared a room before (only child.) then earplugs/those things that block out light? you have a roomie, correct? also, things to cover the walls. YOUR BIKE is a very good idea, plus a hefty U-lock, helmet. a printer is also a really good idea, because you'll be up at 2 finishing a paper and then you'll be like shit the library's closed i have to get up before work starts at 530 oh wait the library's still closed. stuff to make your sterile room look homey: christmas lights are awesome at doing things. a bed-mat thing, to make you more comfy. a futon if you think you can squeeze it in, will make you popular. a rope ladder. any weird clothing you can think of for themed parties or just being a weirdo.
yay college:)

Dunc, don't actually bring string lights or too many things to decorate, because it's boy rule to have ugly empty unhomey rooms and then you wouldn't be cool.

yeah, craig, what is up with that? we should have planned this better. haha

I'm going to miss seeing you all the time. I'm also going to miss your loud outbursts at inopportune times. haha

You're the one who's not going to college next to me Duncan, I didn't do anything wrong. :) but for real, we should have worked this out better. Since Mike and I are the only ones from the cruise in the same city, cruise reunions on the national lawn!?

I'm going to miss you knowing everything, and being calm always, and laughing at my jokes when no one else does. :)
