Kids sure grow up fast...

The highlights of my week:
  • When Twin A ask if she could turn in a science report from second grade for her February book report. Recycling is a good thing but give me a break.
  • Yesterday when I was informed that Twin B cheated on her multiplication tests (7s for those who are curious) and did it badly.

Your embarrassment should not keep you from doing what is right. If you have guilt (Teshuva?) perhaps this is a good thing.

We all hear about how siblings are competative -- the constant first one to the door, who gets the good chair, who gets to watch tv first, who will mom pay attention to first. But the how much less can I brush my teeth, can I interupt my sibling's time with focusagent so that my time with focus agent trumps in value are things that can fester and get honed into a scary teen movie.

When we do/did these things we can recall doing them in the name of 'utility', 'sportsmanship', 'malice' or 'laziness'. Identifying why it occurs and what they think it occurs is likely pretty important.

even as adults we seem to find guilt along the way ...it does not seem to stop us from doing things we want to...just like children..."it has to be better on the other side of the fence...until you get there and realize how much better you had it"
