I can't exactly explain it, but these lines really touched me. Maybe its because the two seem so at ease with each other, doing domestic things like that. And then you hear Chuck talk about all the death he's seen and it’s on the way to becoming heartbreaking, but Casey gets into bed and just seems really there for Chuck.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I love how real this felt. I could see Chuck and Casey being like this ten years from now. Great job =)

This is an extremely late comment; I don't know if I somehow missed it, or what.. But this? Made me cry. It was sad, but more than that, it was comforting, and stable, and all those things you should feel when you find someone you really love; I'd go so far as to say that it's one of my favorites that you've written, I think - in fact, it's right up there with my favorite Chuck h/c fics. It's not overly heavy on angst, but it is very intimate.
