Greetings, members!

Unfortunately, this is not a call to come back. Opening the DA is something I am not yet ready to do. Perhaps in the near future. We will see ( Read more... )

It was interesting to see your question there at the end. I was actually wondering what you think about Snape? Good or Evil? Light or Dark? Coke or Pepsi?

What are my feelings on Snape...well first Coke.

Is Snape evil? Up until book six, I would have laid money on that answer being no, he is not. Severus had a difficult life, between an abusive muggle father, and being harassed at school, it made him cold and hard. However, that does not mean that he would side with Voldemort, or at least not willingly. We know he is spy. It is the sixth book that gives us a gray area to work with. It is because of the sixth book that I'm not sure if he's good or evil. Severus is in a gray area that will unfortunatily remain until such time as the 7th book comes out. Then I am hoping my questions will be answered.

I hope that answers your question.

Oh and as for Daniel wanting to do more serious roles and not be stuck in the sterotype of Harry Potter I say "Right On!" If he wants to get naked on stage let him, as long as its legal where he is....once he's legal here...then they can bring the show to the US for us all to see...literal :P

I say Coke too....

And I think that he is evil. I never liked his character in the books, and when he did the Unbreakable Vow and stuff in 6....I knew something was going to be happening and not in a good way either.

Who knows though...Book 7 could change my mind about him.

wheeeee discussions!!! xtangledechox February 18 2007, 06:16:50 UTC
I am most anticipating the book. I adore the movies, but like David said...It leaves me wanting MORE. They do a good job of the movies, don't get me wrong, but they leave out so much and it's stuff that I feel is important, like S.P.E.W. in the last movie. Or how Sirius wasn't in the movie at ALL but he IS in the books...stuff like that. Plus when I'm reading the books, I can imagine things how I want them, not how someone else sees them....Does that make sense?

I'm going to be going crazy during Harry Potter month though lol. And I KNOW I'm going to cry when the book ends.

And as far as him doing other work...Someone PLEASE get me tickets to that play and a ticket to London lol. I think it's great he wants to do other things acting-wise, and I'm glad he's choosing serious roles like Equus (okay and I like the nude part too), because when Harry's over...where does that leave him?

What part of the movie are you most excited to see?

I totally know what you mean about making things up in your head from the books. That's why the books are always better than the movies (though I thought Chamber of Secrets made a better movie than a book).

And yes, I will be sad when it's all over too.

Well I'm not really sure all that they're going to HAVE in the movie, cuz Lord knows they cut everything that will excite ME out, but I can't wait to see the scene at the Ministry...And I want to see how Harry is when Sirius dies....Not to mention I want to see if they have the house in there at all, and what that will be like....

*sigh*

Amber I'm with your tickets to London and the play would be nice. Seeing that we would have to wait a whole year for the play to come here to the US.

if you don't re-open this community, I'm going to start my own Dumbledore's Army and invite everyone here to join it. Just a warning. You can't hold us hostage anymore. Dumbledore's Army is coming back whether you're running it or not. So either re-start the community sometime within the next week or it will re-start somewhere else. Thank you.

I am not holding anyone hostage. In fact, I encourage the members here to take part in the online Harry Potter community. Dumbledore's Army will come back when it's time. That may be soon or it could be quite the contrary. I do not appreciate your apparent "threat" to solicit and I know the members of Dumbledore's Army will not as well.
