I watched the first episode yesterday and yes, British tv dramas are yet to dissapoint me, it was so so good.

I never heard of it. I've been almost completely without TV since starting school. The only exceptions are occasionally watching Star Trek: Enterprise with the husband when he gets home, maybe catching Mythbusters, and marking my calendars for Eureka when it decides to air (10 July this season - YAY!).

What's it about so far? Was it made from a book or history?

It is about british police inspector during the time of second world war. The authors actually try to pay attention to historical detail besides providing excellent mysteries and the acting is wonderful. Sorry about school consuming all your time dear.

Sounds cool. Maybe I'll look up the videos over Christmas. :D I do have my rec lists to consult for those down times!
