Sadly, in highschool very few Canadian authors are studied, I recall maybe some poems, atwood in particular and some short stories, like Margaret Laurence. Mostly we studied American and British authors --lots of Shakespeare in fact. All of us are quite familiar with Anne of Green Gables, its a cultural thing for sure. Author is L.M. Montgomery ( ... )
