I bring in baked goods to work quite often since I moved to U.S. (and have a proper oven!). I usually bake enough so that my husband has enough to bring to his work place too.
When I was in Malaysia, I kept a lot of snacks at my cubicle for everyone to munch on. Some co-workers eventually feel bad and pass me some cash but I usually pay for all the snacks (small packets of chips, cookies, etc). I guess I just like to make people happy and feed them.
However, if he does it because of some nefarious reason, then I will be wary.
