[The audio feed crackles to life. There are several moments of silence before Dulcie's voice can be heard. She sounds shaky, like someone on the edge of tears. She takes a deep breathe, and then-]
I'm sorry. For everything.
[She takes a deep breath, as though she's about to speak more. But before she can she speak any more, the audio cuts out.]

Still, as empathetic as he may be at this point, Castiel's still not the best conversationalist. His acceptance of her apology seems, to him, very obvious. Indicated by his presence, even. ]

[Dulcie is seated on her sofa, her device still in her hand when Castiel arrives. She expected him, really. Although a part of her really wishes he'd decide to stay home, just this one time.]
