So I'm so unsure about snagging icons and crediting them that I decided to create this post.

I currently have 2 icons done by Dazzling Cullen for TVD which I use. I also have two BtVS/AtS icons done by dollarformyname and one BSG by blue_orchidea that I use. *All my BSG icons were done by blue_orchidea by the way

I already added the icon makers' names in my comment boxes when I uploaded them but I just really wanted to make sure I got it right. Let me double-check and make sure one didn't slip my attention. I think I tried to make the keywords/comments the same so as not to screw that up.

Thank you kindly for the tip, I've implemented it! Now you're going to die laughing but it appears I mislabeled the icons I thought I got from dollarformyname's LJ. They aren't hers, which means the search for their author continues.

Um, those icons you credited to me aren't mine, lol. Maybe you meant to credit someone with a similar username?

As for crediting, most people just put the username of the creator in the comment box of each icon. The little LJhtml code is: {lj user="USERNAME"/}
(except you replace the { } with < >).

That seems to suffice well enough for most icon-makers, anyway.

I DID! Now I don't remember who! I better go check in my history folder and rectify that. See I knew this post was a great idea.
