Godemp.... It occured to me that "red herring" didnt sound entirely original. as it turns out, its a phrase used to describe a technique used in an argument to divert attention away from a subject...ie "Yeah, I killed those people, but look at that huge pile of Elephant feces over there

Dude, you didn't know that? "Red Herring" is a logical fallacy, which was the entire point of the joke... Yelling "red herring!" at people as a means to distract them from whatever it was they were going about doing...

But yeah, it changes nothing. I await Red Herring with baited breath.
