Passing

My mom called me this morning before I got up to tell me that my grandma passed away at around 4 this morning. She was in no pain and went peacefully with my Papa there. I guess that's how everyone hopes to go. They are having the funeral in Goff on Monday. I won't be going back for it. As much as I'd like to, it's just not feasible.

i'm definitely glad it wasn't painful, or she wasn't alone. she had seen all her children, yes? i do worry about that sometimes... i have all four of my grandparents still, in 'good' health. i wonder if i'm starting to take it for granted.

yes, after all four of her sons were there with her last night, she knew she had permission to go. We will be going to Scarsdale for the weekend, and I am going to take next week of, I'm almost certain. In fact, I think I am taking from now on off. Even with my grandma passing today, I feel good just because I'm not at that job. I think this is the time for me to move on as well.
