Have you started reading X yet? How much of the manga did you end up buying while you were here? At some point I will upload some X-Japan music for you.
Also, you should watch Avatar, it's out on DVD in the UK now, I think. At least some of it is. (It is my mission in life to get everyone I know to watch Avatar. Working pretty well so far.)
Actually I have the first disc of Avatar on my rental list, the recommendation was passed along to me. Another disc of SPN and a movie I need to see, and I should get to it.
I have read the first three volumes of X, and I picked up 4 and 5 during my last visit. If I get any much time off over Christmas I will be exploring it - nothing says festive season like a gallon of bloody angst! Ta for the moral support (crazed Air/Kanon maniacs on the rampage!) and potential X-Japan...
Well Air and Kanon are, I believe, based on dating sims so they do tend to have rather squicky fandoms.
Yays for future Avatar viewage. I look forward to your reaction posts. :) (Though FYI sometimes the UK calls the show Avatar: The Legend of Aang instead of the correct name which would be Avatar: The Last Airbender. I don't know why they do that, but it's annoying, because as I like to say: "The genocide is in the title.")
ETA: Oh another FYI, when you do get the discs, I suggest refraining from watching the extras (which are mostly little behind the scenes bits) as they contain spoilers.
