A Yahoo Alan Garner group? I must look for it.

I also blog elsewhere than here, different flavour. LJ is better for finding common interests, I've found, though I've sometimes friended someone who has lots of common interests, and then find they never write about them.

Anyway, I hope you won't altogether disappear from LJ.

See I buggered off to MySpace but I don't think I like it as much as LJ.

You'll have to tell us how you get on at the very least.

I once replied with considerable personal warmth to a friend's LJ post about the miserable day she was having - then realised that it wasn't the offline friend I'd thought, but another LJ friend who I'd never met and who was a bit surprised that I said I'd call her later!

Anyway, good luck with the writing!
