AMY YOU ARE SUCH A LEGEND!! I soooo fucking LOVE this, you really do paint things so very beautifully and atmospheric, there's just SO much feeling and I LOVE how you describe EVERYTHING!! LIKE UGH!! Jensen sinks lower into the cushions and Jared covers him, angles them across the sofa so there’s a chance they can fit together....Jared thinks they’ve always fit together, but just never bothered to try.

“Remember when,” Jensen pants out, suddenly full of life and color.

“I remember it all.”

I love the way their nostalgia becomes the impetus for something new between them, the idea that after all these years and memories of compromised moments, they might finally be ready for the real thing. This is the best kind of slow burn.
