Today is a total Monday. I planned on getting up at 5am to come into work around 630 and get a boatload of shit done since I, once again, skipped out on working on Sunday. I overslept that alarm then said I'd get up at 6 and get in around 715 ... then overslept that alarm and wound up even doing the 'ten more minutes' routine to not come in until

sorry to hear about your android phone, I have an apple 4 and for some reason known only to apple, I have updated my password and the phone won't accept it and will not let me update any of my apps and it keeps sending all my calls direct to voice mail even though I don't have it set that way (I want to answer the calls as they come in). I spoke to Apple techs about this problem last month and we resolved it after some dicking around but now it has happened again..I'm beginning to think that some fairies or pixies have been playing with my phone whilst I was asleep.

I'm kind of glad to hear I'm not the only one all warm and fuzzy about iPhones lol. I feel like everyone around me thinks they're the greatest things EVER. I'm not sold. Actually, there are some ways the mail app works that I prefer in Android, and not just because I already know how to do it, hah.

Sorry yours was such trouble! It really does stink when your phone gets into trouble, given how dependent the world is on having instant access these days - and I don't even mean that in a bad way; I feel like that myself!

With my boss on vacation, everyone tends to get lazy about being here on time.

LOL, my boss is on a plane to Boston right now, which is why I'm goofing on LJ. (Did manage to get in on time, though.) ;)

I forgot to grab my phone*, and then also my kindle, and my earbuds. So I sat on the train listening to everyone around me while I stared out the window. For 30 minutes.

Poor bb, I feel your pain. Been there, done that, and nothing gets me crazy faster than being forced to listen to other commuters' boring, shouted telephone calls and sixth-grade-level conversations. I do NOT want to hear the sordid details of how you got "lucky" over the weekend, dude. GIMME MAH MUSIC!

What's worse on my train is it's mostly all soccer moms and dads who are talking about their kids starting school, the PTA, other neighbors, etc. UGH.

I'm surprised the 3 is working for you! My boss gave me her 3, but I couldn't use it because my Android and SIM card run on 4G LTE, and the 3's OS wouldn't work with all of that ... I couldn't download a single app :(

I feel you about Monday being a Monday. I just realized that all the applications I've sent out for the past three months have had markup visible to those people who had it turned on in their Word programs, and seeing as nobody seems to know how to turn *off* markup, I'm pretty sure it completely fucked up my chances for those jobs.

There is nothing worse than being on public transport without a means to block out all the inanity around you. Or usually, in my case, all the craziness, since I do live in the land of the homeless-and-off-their-meds.

ugh, public transport is just NOT doable without music!! I feel your pain. I LOVE getting mani-pedis, getting my nails done on Thursday, I'll probably go for a dark greyish colour.
I'm pretty happy still with my iPhone 3! hope you can get yours sorted soonish, bb!

It really was horrendous LOL.

The last few pedis I've gotten were while hungover and so the massage chairs and hot towel wraps feel heavenly ... but then the mani felt like it took FOREVER and I wanted to nap at the table LOL!
