Work is back to being overwhelming and crazy, but I'll save you those details. Yesterday my brother asked me - ASKED ME - to join him in using tickets he won to see Robert Randolph and the Family Band. Unfortunately we did not think it all through very well and wound up busing it up north then walking around and busing it back to the Loop-proper and walking a mile or so to the train so we could grab the last train of the night
Park West? Hey, I've been there! Brown Line to Armitage and then walk maybe five blocks? (If the concert ended late, though, I suppose you couldn't have taken the train back -- not sure if Brown runs all night.)

We took the 22 over because it's close to my brother's building and somehow I ALWAYS wind up walking to him rather than vice versa ... then we were leaving, I was checking my CTA app and it said we could take other buses that would take us closer to to Union, but then we'd have to walk around at 11:30pm in an area we didn't know (like through the park lol) and we decided to stay put.
Chicago has taxis, you know.
We discussed that! But then somehow we were like 'oh, this won't be that bad!' Also, it was cheaper via bus and we never would've made the 11:40 train, since the concert ended at 11:30.
