I've gone completely silly over Tim Gutterson. Which is terrific, since he has five minutes of screen time in the entire four seasons. But I just adore him
( ... )
The dialogue is so crazy good. The snark and the wit and the darkness in all the characters. I cannot get enough of it! I never really got into Tim much but he's definitely grown on me over the years. It's been great to see a little more of him this season.
I'm hoping to bang out a ton of writing this weekend. Work got way busier this week than I had anticipated, whoops!
LOVE Justified! Raylan is such a badass! I know what you mean about this season feeling slightly off. It could have been because the Mags arc was so magnificent or it could have been that it seem to go in so many directions at once.
It also throws me sometimes when I see characters from one show that I love on another show. Jim Beaver was great but I kept thinking he was gonna try and exorcise Ellen May. Just like when I see Nicholas Brendon on Criminal Minds, my brain goes straight to Xander.
Colt reminded me of someone who I never could quite figure out so I would get distracted sometimes working on that too.
I kinda wanna rewatch that season now! It was so delicious!
Hah, it did feel really weird to see Beaver play the sheriff, especially as he kinda played the straight and narrow for a while. But I also really loved Deadwood so I adore seeing the actors cross over!
Ugh, Livejournal does not want to let me drool properly over Raylan! Stop shutting down on me LJ! Let's try this comment again...
Your icon is thoroughly distracting me!
Raylan is a BABE
ahahahaha This is TRUE. I have to say, we will never get someone like Mags Bennet again, nothing will measure up, so at least they didn't try to bring in another local baddie but decided to go more outside the area for one. Still, I found myself liking the stuff going on with Boyd and Ava this season more than Raylan. And the stuff with Tim, who I am madly in love with and have been begging for scraps of since the first episode he had a speaking line in, so this season paid off for me in that regard, even if I felt like it was lacking in the Harlan-flavor some.
And dude, Raylan/Rachel just a teeny bit...I am so right there with you. It's not a full-fledge 'ship, I-must-have-it kind of thing, but just...Rachel is so badass and doesn't take Raylan's shit and I kind of ship that, I do.
