Hi, I was the one who asked you about this on tumblr, and this is wonderful and I have a lot of thoughts so this will be disjointed AS HELL.

TRUE STORY: I thought Morning Glories was supposed to be lighthearted when I started reading it!BASICALLY. I had seen a few people on tumblr mention it over the past few months so I mentally added it to a list and all I really knew was a few covers and its just seemed like COMIC ABOUT A BOARDING SCHOOL?? Normally when I talk about comics all I ever focus on is the characters (not to say the plot isn’t enjoyable, but its usually such an afterthought for me) BUT WITH THIS is love the plot like CRAZY.

SAME, I never have any idea what the hell is going on in most comics because I just DO NOT CARE about the plot - there are entire arcs or issues I've read three or four times because I'm so into the character stuff and I could not for the life of me recap the plot for you because it just doesn't register. MORNING GLORIES THOUGH, PLOT ALWAYS!!!!

ALSO I read somewhere that the creator said dead is dead here but W/E THERE IS TIME TRAVEL SHIT GOING ON SO YEAH.

Dead can be dead, I'M FINE WITH THAT, it just can't mean gone. I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS! WHAT WAS HER DEEEEEEEEEEEEAL. Time travel and flashbacks and visions etc etc etc.

this needs to be my mantra for everything about morning glories. STOP SHIPPING PPL, STOP LIKING CHARACTERS SO MUCH, STOP EXPECTING HAPPINESS. REMEMBER GUTS EVERYWHERE.

Jun and Hunter tho!! from the first issue jun told him to stick with him and he was the person hunter went to about casey and jun kept protecting him or w/e with the new guys!! I LOVE IT.
ALSO i cant even talk properly about Jun and Hisao BECAUSE THAT KILLS ME LIKE NOTHING ELSE. BROTHER SAVING EACH OTHER AND IT SEEMINGLY ENDING VERY BADLY NO THANK YOU ( ... )

With Jun and Hunter I love the way they go back and forth between like I WILL PROTECT YOU FROM GETTING MURDERED IN THIS PLACE/HEY CAN YOU COME HELP US BUST JADE OUT OF THE TERRIFYING TORTURE WING? and CAN YOU TELL ME WHEN IT'S TIME FOR MY DATE? I HAVE MAGIC CLOCK DYSLEXIA/HUNTER, YOU SURE DO HAVE A LOT OF GIRL PROBLEMS. Hahaha, when Hunter's like I HAVE SECRETS TOO!!!!!!!!! ...one time I threw up on a roller coaster. BOYS!!!!!!!!!!! I love how Jun should be super serious bc he's trained most of his life for this and they killed his mom and took his brother and all that, AND HE IS, but he's also like yeah, this geeky dude is my bro, I'm pretty fond of him.

LIKE i dont WANT casey to be a fake BUT I JUST LOVE HOW THEY DID THAT??? UHG I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING!!!!!RIGHT? Like way to manipulate me into suddenly doubting Casey's intentions all of a sudden! I mean not only are we hearing the CASEY'S A FAKE speeches along with Hunter and Jade, but the Casey-less stretch of the story is also FULL of people switching sides and having hidden ( ... )
