Sadly, the Lost model hasn't worked for anything since Lost. Maybe Fringe, a little, but TV history from the past five years is littered with cancelled shows with BIG! COMPLEX! MYSTERIES!
[On a related note I cannot believe ABC pulled Defying Gravity RIGHT BEFORE IT GOT INTERESTING. I watched at LEAST three quarters of 109. Thank god for Canadian SciFi channel or wherever I think my future downloads will be coming from.]
Actually I think my favorite part of FlashForward was that every time they cut to commercial ABC was like, "WHAT ABOUT THE KANGAROO? REMEMBER IT. IT MIGHT BE IMPORTANT LATER" or whatever. I just kept thinking, ABC, stop trying to make 'fetch' happen. It's never going to happen.
Ugh, I know, wtf is the deal with Defying Gravity? I keep hearing, IT'S CANCELLED. WAIT, NO, IT'S NOT BUT WE DON'T KNOW WHEN IT IS COMING BACK. DEF NOT CANCELLED THOUGH. EXCEPT NO IT TOTALLY IS. The mystery of its status is more mysterious than its crying ghost baby.
I can just imagine that meeting. "LOST HAD A POLAR BEAR, WHAT IS OUR ANIMAL?"
CTV aired one episode after ABC pulled it from the schedule, AKA THE EPISODE WHERE THEY ACTUALLY EXPLAIN THE DEAL WITH BETA, so I'm actually interested in seeing more. [Someone needs to make out, though, and fast. Grey's Anatomy in space IT IS NOT.]
Haha, did you know that if you click 'Play' on box.net it will just play the file on an infinite loop unless you stop it? JUST SOMETHING I'M NOTICING RIGHT NOW.
WHY IS NO ONE ELSE ON THE INTERNET LOVING PR THIS SEASON, IT IS TOTALLY MY FAVORITE SEASON AFTER TWO AND POSSIBLY THREE. EVERYONE IS REALLY LOVING AND SUPPORTIVE EXCEPT FOR FATMA AND NICOLAS.
SORRY, BUT NOTHING MAKES FOR BORING REALITY TV LIKE EVERYONE BEING LOVING AND SUPPORTIVE. You need a core group of loving and supportive people who you can root for to the end, and then you need a bunch of assholes that you stick around to see get booted one by one.
Also, contestants aside, the show's just not bringing it this year. I know Heidi needed it to move to LA and that the cost of that is some Nina and Michael time, but this much time with that many judges missing is hurting the show, and the challenges have been weak.
If you watched The Office now it wouldn't even be an issue, since that one scene was the only thing Ryan has done so far this season. WHERE ARE THEY KEEPING YOU, BJ?
OH MY GOD SARAH CAN WE TALK ABOUT GREY'S? HOLY SHIT I WATCHED IT AND CANNOT FUNCTION. Alex Karev CANNOT SURVIVE YOUR BULLSHIT, SHONDA. HE HAS SAID IT MULTIPLE TIMES NOW. So now I'm like more afraid for him since ever, HEIGL IS GOING TO FLOUNCE, DON'T DO THIS HEIGL, AND IF YOU MUST, TAKE JUSTIN CHAMBERS WITH YOU SO ALEX AND IZZIE CAN GET A HAPPY ENDING AND I CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT.
I THINK I WILL BE WATCHING IT WEEKLY FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE LIKE 2006, BUT...I AM SO, SO SCARED FOR ME AND ALEX.
I think Heigl might actually stick around, TBH! They're giving her better material than they were two years ago [didn't watch whatever it was, buuuuuut a deer? There was something with a deer?] and they're plenty willing to work with her on scheduling to allow for movies and whatnot, so...fingers crossed? LOOK KATHERINE, WE'VE HAD OUR UPS AND DOWNS OVER THE LAST TEN YEARS, BUT I NEED YOU TO STICK AROUND FOR ME, OKAY? IN A ROUNDABOUT WAY, YOUR PRESENCE IS THE ONLY REASON I'M WATCHING.
I watched the last few last season (HAVE YOU SEEN THE WEDDING? IF NOT GO DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DOWNLOAD IT RIGHT FUCKING NOW IT IS LIKE SHONDA DECIDED THAT SHE WANTED TO DO SOMETHING NICE FOR ME AND ME ALONE WITH THAT EPISODE.
Ugh, I hope you are right, I am planning on not watching when she leaves for a month or whatever, WHICH I AM ALSO WORRIED ABOUT: HOW WILL THE WRITE IZZIE OFF FOR A MONTH? I hope it's something like BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT THE HOSPITAL AND IZZIE IS AT HOME BAKING SO WE DON'T CARE ABOUT HER FOR NOW.
She'll probably just go have some experimental cancer treatment somewhere or visit her trashy mom or something, IDK. THEY'LL MAKE IT WORK.
I have not seen the wedding! Once I'm feeling a little more secure in my relationship with Grey's I'm going to go back and watch all the Alex/Izzie stuff from the past year or so, I'M PSYCHED.
PS how long do you think until she's magically sporting a full head of hair again, I GIVE IT SIX MONTHS.
-Branch Closing, when Pam/Ryan was born out of an awkward conversation in the break room about whether things would be weird when Jim came back to Scranton. -Dunder-Mifflin Infinity, when RYAN ASKED PAM OUT.
And...other stuff? IDK, it's really just "every time they've ever spoken" because there's so little to go on.

HEE. I totally enjoyed that pilot, but yes.
Also I am really hoping that Community becomes the Abed and Troy show.

Also, if Mo is not Kurt's dead mom then it's like Glee and I were never friends in the first place.

oh except I think if I watched the office now I'd like Ryan more just to spite Jim, so we're really on 2.5.
