That's a great story! What a brilliant Pansy, and a very promising future for Dudders. I love how open she is about liking him better than Harry!

This could be the beginning of a ... very interesting relationship.
A fine character piece, doubly intriguing due to what Dudley and Pansy don't know about each other (e.g. Pansy's "if you hadn’t known that you could beat him, getting into a fight would have been stupid" remark, which seems perfectly on topic, but also gives a motive for her actions in DH).
I hope you continue this some day, Mystery Author - there are so many possibilities here.

Oh, I really like this. Dudley's figuring out what he's doing in life and how he feels about things. I love his realizations and thoughts at the end. Pansy is excellent here. Strong and capable, but vulnerable and a little snotty too. Just how I love her. :) Really nice insights into both these characters.
