I've returned to my past body of works and have attempted to improve upon a freeform blurby thing I wrote. This has more form that its predesessor, and I think I'll keep working on it as it seems to be my best composition.

I wrote another poem recently. I like this one because I was just sorta lounging around listening to the fan and it kinda struck me. It's not that good, more of a free form poem than anything structured...

Tonight I smiled more than I have in a very long time and it was wonderful.

Last night was poker night in 316. I met several of the roomies' friends and even won one round of the poker. Jeff was there and I expressed my hopes for friendship with him. Everything seems to be well. I like all of my room mates, even Jeff. He is a nice person and truthfully has done nothing to wrong me in the past so he is not deserving of my ( Read more... )

My grandmother died this morning at 10 after 10. I dropped all my packing nonsense and went over there right away and spent most of the afternoon with my family. It was nice to see everyone together again, even though the cirumstances were hardly ideal. There is no service planned.
