wow! good deal! will you be checking luggage? i always think it's a good idea not to check any luggage when you have connections but that's just my paranoid self speaking.
You know what, we hate checking luggage as well. Especially since Icelandair lost our luggage last year and we were stuck in Iceland with just an "Iceland Air" T-shirt for a day!
But unfortunately, we're going for 2 weeks and we need to pack fancy clothes for the wedding and gifts for the relatives in Australia so most likely, we will be checking luggage. I just had all the connections. United is famous for not being ontime and I don't want to miss any connections.
I'm psyched to try the business class in Singapore Airlines!! (Aeroplan tried to get us onto first class but there were no openings).
i'm sure it will be lavish! i know that even the hospitality cabin is great for singapore so you will definitely be taken care of in business class! dont forget to take pictures of all the food you eat on the plane and in australia! ive never been to australia before..
It's going to be May 3rd 2006 LOL... actually, we will most likely be in LA sometime next year for an actual weekend so that's probably a better time! The May 3rd date isn't really firm as we're actually trying to see if we can get a more direct flight and not have to spend the night in LA.
Hey Stef's friend! Yeah, I know. I'm just stopping over in Auckland. I will really be in Sydney and Perth. This is the unfortunate truth of using your points to claim flights... you can never get anything really "direct".
Sydney's fun, Partying's awesome there. The food in both Sydney and Singapore are so yummy....and aussie wine, you should ask stef about what she likes in the way of aussie wine, but my favorite brands are penfolds and Brokenwood.
And you have to go to Harry's on Wheels when you get to Sydney....aussie meat pies with mash potatos, peas and gravy.....so so so so good
Awesome... I will definitely have to check out some Australian wine. I heard from my friend (who is getting married in Perth) that there are a lot of wineries out that way, so most likely, we'll try to hit some of the wineries there.
