So my youngest sister made the resolution to lose weight this year. She was teetering on the overweight line a few months ago (according to the doctor) and I couldn't help but think "She's teetering on that line, after my mum made her eat nothing but healthy fruits and veggies for nearly two weeks

Also, just personal opinion, but she needs work on her outlook on the whole thing. She shouldn't being doing stuff just to "lose so much weight!" but because of the overall benefit it will have and how much fun it could be (in regards to the skiing)! But that's just me...
