Eltea this is just... Just PERFECT! I've read it over and over again and everytime I see new details, new things I didn't notice... It's just so beautiful and well-written and full of things that are just SO Matt and SO Mello and- I'm not making sense anymore, am I?

Thank you so much! :) I really loved writing it; part of the reason it took me so long was that I kept wanting to put in more details and symbols and things, so I’m really glad you liked them. :) And the assumption about L.A.’s weather is definitely based on the weather around here; it doesn’t get cold until practically November. XD It’s something I really love about the area. :)

Just so you know, this is wonderful and poignant and heart-wrenching. I love the bit with the list of Kira's victims and the asterisks/stars, and, well, everything. Your characterizations are also amazing.
