Iced In & Shan's first try in the white stuff!

Never had any snow, but 9 hours of sleet left a very solid coating of ice about an inch thick everywhere. We have a good mayor, so he had made sure there was no school Tuesday -Thursday (while he does not control it, his suggestion goes a long way) & all city offices were closed Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday morning, which encouraged most

Shan is very brave. I know my cats would be going, 'no way, take us back in now.'

How did your trees/plants do?

The only thing Shan is afraid of is the whatever it is I can't see! She is a brave girl-
Too soon to tell for most of my yard(I covered & put hot water bottles with everything I could) but my satsumas look like they will recover while my grapefruit looks really bad. I have lost at least 1/3 of it, it may die. Azaleas look bad but they should come back. Nandinas were not bothered at all.
