I cannot wait until this album comes out, for real. I don't think I've ever anticipated a John Mayer album this much before. Oh, and this lyric, "if you see her, say hello, just don't tell me 'I told you so'," hmm, wonder who that could possibly be about? ;)

The reps love vampire books because that is what's popular right now, and what they know will sell, therefore making them more money. I'm sure these are the same agents that liked books about magic when Harry Potter first hit big, too. I'm sure you'll find an agent that believes in originality and creativity, eventually. Good luck!

That is actually one of my favorite lines of the song!

Thanks so much! There are a ton of good agents out there. It just felt like I was constantly clicking "x" the other night because they were all mainly interested in paranormal romance, and some of them even said "no high fantasy". While my quartet isn't high fantasy, it's close enough that they probably wouldn't want it, sooooooo yeah.

DOWN WITH VAMPIRE BOOKS. DOWN WITH DYSTOPIA.

I hope you find someone to rep you!

See, I'm enjoying the dystopia. I could never write it, but I'm enjoying reading (most of) it. BUT DOWN WITH VAMPIRE BOOKS.

Thanks!! Me too, haha.

I enjoy the dystopia much more in theory than I do in execution. I have read two in the last year that I found remotely plausible and/or engrossing. And yet I keep trying. I don't know why.

Ah. I've only read two series, see (THG and Matched/Crossed by Ally Condie), so I haven't really read enough to come across ones that I don't like.

Season 6 of OTH is the fucking BEST, despite the lack of Jake Jagielski (though he is mentioned briefly, and I loved that, sfm).

I know. "Jake Jagielski hot single dad tail", indeed.

I'm just having so many Sophia/Austin feelings. That scene after Julian tells Brooke he loves her, where they're talking about how the reason she's so hesitant to let herself open up is because the last person she was in love with was Lucas, and she got so badly burnt-- the entire scene felt like it was Austin talking to Sophia about Chad. Even the word choice. I was like MARK SCHWAHN. WHAT ARE YOU DOING.

Yeah, I really like "Love is a Verb" too. I'm excited to hear the rest of the album!

Are you working on the story with the characters you were reblogging on tumblr? When I saw Arthur, I was like....HUH? WHAT? I'M INTERESTED... :D

Ooh yes I do really like that one.

WELL. Sort of. See, I saw a graphic with them once and just ALL OF A SUDDEN it turned into a novel idea. So I've been sort of letting it SIMMER for like a year and a half now, because I've had other novels to work on, and I've played with it and I have some of it done but I just don't feel like I have a good enough grasp of what the plot is. I know the characters inside and out, and am in love with them, and their story, but there is not enough PLOT yet. So.

Also I am working on my latest section of my fic with leobrat because if I don't finish it and pass it to her soon she might kill me with her mind. Probably not, actually. But who wants to take chances.
